The Story of Daniel Morgan

Daniel Morgan was a private investigator who worked for Southern Investigations in Thornton Heath, London. In early 1987 he had been hired by a client to investigate police corruption that was apparently rampant in the Metropolitan Police. He conducted extensive interviews with Detective Constable Allen Holmes and enlisted the help of another detective Sid Filnery. A month after his death six suspects were arrested on suspicion of murder but they were all released without charge. An inquest later found that Daniel's partner Jonathan Rees may have played a role in killing him. There are still many unanswered questions regarding what really happened to Daniel Morgan at the end of April 1988.
