The Demic Expansion of Chaturhuyuk

The practice of farming, a process that archaeologists called Neolithicization, was expanding. By about 9,000 years ago, around the time Chaturhuyuk reached its peak with thousands of residents, the first farmers had reached the shores of the Aegean Sea. People brought the farming way of life with them as they moved. Cyprus was just the beginning of this trend, what's called Demic Expansion.
