The British Museum and Loans
Unlike Ed, I don't dispute the legality of the British Museum's ownership. It was seized by the doge who blew up the path and boasted about it being a fortunate shot. His history is littered with incidents which might make us squeamish today. Allowing loans and continuous educational experiences would be to a common good. A loan of any duration longer than a certain amount of time would be likely to become. No, I don’t think if we can be loomed to the Hermitage in Russia they can be looming to anywhere.
