The Land Policy of the Bolsheviks Was Not a Scam

The rural peasants in Russia were inert at that point. By the time the Chinese show up in the Chinese, I'm sorry, and that's not really the case in rural Russia. There were landless workers in rural Russia, but communal ownership of land by peasants still existed in large amounts throughout Russia. Even though they voted SR when they did, they supported the revolution. They supported exporperating landlords. But it wasn't a scam because Lenin didn't really believe in just giving the farmers their land. He knew that would not allow for the development that it needed to happen in Russia.
