What Are You Dealing With When You Build More Reliable Things?
Nwys art with weaer customers getting wrong, unfortunately. One thing that customers get wrong is that they have an expectation of how many nines they want. I just gave a talk at selo comp, i think it was a couple weks ago. Was just talking about trade offs between reliability and other functions. And it's done entirely in soft ware. We don't care about disks failing any more because software kind of fixed that for us.
