I have a problem with products that are basically using AI as an afterthought. Microsoft is like bundling AI on top of everything they've built and that's great. I think this is probably going to happen at some point. But ultimately it doesn't make Excel more easy to use. It's still Excel. And then there's this AI layer on top, which is, okay, I can automate some stuff and it's pretty cool. You have this misalignment between the experience of using the AI stuff and then the rest of the product. So if folks are building something really deeply valuable and they want to strap AI on top, it needs to be really solving a real core issue
