Henry van bradar's clothes were covered in the kind of blood spatter that would only have been possible if he had been stood within close proximity to each member of the family when they were attacked. When this was pointed out, henry changed his story in court. He claimed that, you know, maybe he'd come out of the ensuit a little bit sooner than he had initially thought. In court, henry stuck to his original story, saying that the attack had slashed at him with the knife before finally stabbing him in the left side and then running off.
