The Uniqueness of Become a Hindu Monk

In India only it's recognized by law to become a Hindu monk is equal to civil death. Civil death means you lose all rites to properties of your parents or ancestors. So technically you are supposed to be dead. And then you are invested with a new name, a new identity, a new set of mantras and everything.
