The Kingdom of God Is Here in Jesus

Today is significant because we're, we finished a sermon on the mound and we're going into a new section of the book of Matthew as we go through it. And here it's where Jesus comes down off the hillside and he starts entering into just day to day life in these small villages and towns that kind of dot the whole landscape along the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The first story Matthew tells us is a story about this guy with a skin disease who approaches Jesus and walks away from that encounter just completely transformed. So let's come back to the story.
