The Struggles of a Broadway Actor
New York was a, I think different than LA. You could see a friend at an audition and be like, hey, great job or hope you could do well. New York didn't feel competitive, whereas LA was oppressive and it is dark and weird. The amount of effort that it took to go to an audition in Los Angeles, you know, it was an all day affair sometimes. It's just, this is pre cell phones, right? Cause I would get lost and I'd start crying. Never knew how famous it was going to get. If it did only, it shouldn't.
