The Importance of Craftsmanship
Craftsmanship is the ability to read all of the relevant factors about a tool. The grind of the wood, the way your hands holding it and feel of the handle are just some of the things that go into craftsmanship. Nick: It's interesting to think along those lines like what is going on when you watch someone who's really quite skilled and fast with a draw knife. And they're working so quickly and your eyes can't even follow the action but they are absorbing reams of information through their hands.
