If you've never encountered mysticism before I would start with either Thomas Merton or Richard Roar. If you are hungry for more than that then my gosh I love John across he's my favorite in there and there's a lot of female mystics. One is Catherine Daugherty she was a Russian woman who moved she immigrated fled the Bolshevik Revolution and all of that. She almost got beat to death by a group of Georgian white women because she did a lot of work in racism before the civil rights movement. And she had this really amazing way of ending some of her talks where she would say like at the end of your life you're going to go to heaven and Jesus
