The connection between the Saudi royal family and the oligarchy here is very deep. The notion that elements in Saudi Arabia might have been cognizant, might have been complicit in 9-11 is definitely something the Bush family or the Cheney with their oil connections wouldn't want to see come out. And this has become kind of a self-licking ice cream cone, a perpetual motion machine that keeps the dollar, the world reserve currency even though we're running persistent trade deficits.
