The Confession of the Deaf
In chapter 10, paragraph three that speaks of elect, infants, dying in infancy. But it also deals with the question of those who are likewise mentally handicapped. And even in the 17th century, people who are deaf, because they didn't necessarily have the developed means to be able to reach them. This statement is not unique to the Baptist, is it? No, it isn't. It's in the Savoy and also in Westminster. The only difference is that the Baptist and the Congregationalists delete a phrase by the spirit that you find in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
