Take Me Out to the Ball Game
The charge fanfare was composed in 1946 by a junior at the University of Southern California. In 1959, the general manager of a new football team went to one of their games and liked it so much he decided to name his team the Chargers. These days, that fanfare is commonly played on the organ at hockey and baseball games. It usually starts with an ascending intro that ramps up into the main melody.
