And if you are doing Christian theology, your interpretation needs to pass the New Testament and Christ or else it is no longer Christian theology. Some people cut these texts from their origin context, skip the cross, skip Christ, skip the New Testament and want to apply them to the modern state of Israel. This is not high view of scriptures,.
