I think it's I think it's quoted in my book, but there's a famous Isaiah Berlin quotation and sort of explication about the problem with human nature. We want a lot of things that are contradictory and we can't have all of them at the same time. So not only do I want the the authoritarian to protect me, but I'm happy to see them make sure that other people lead the lives they should be leading. The balance can go too far one way or too far the other way.
