Algorithms don't have eyes they have cameras and algorithms don't have you know a brain a human brain so they have sensors. The input of this pipeline is usually RGB images okay so images that come from a camera. Then the output of the control algorithm is an angle of where how to steer the motors in fact that are connected to for example the pedals or directly to the engine as it comes for new generation cars.
