Pémât Sieden was a Tibetan filmmaker who worked under the yoke of China. He had to submit all his scripts for review by Chinese censors but found ways around it. His films dealt with national directives such as an unexpected pregnancy and one child policy, but he didn't criticize these policies. A lot of his acceptance of the difficulties of working under the Chinese yoke came from his training in Buddhism.
