Nix OS - The Killer Feature?

You can run Nix on any Linux. The killer feature for me was the way that I can declare development environments using Nix. So all I need to do is CD into the directory for my project. And it brings magically into existence just the tools that I need to run build test and work on those projects. That was what got me hooked.
