i have seen song of the south twice. I first saw it when i was six years old, in a los angeles movie theatre where i was taken by my extremely liberal, white jewish mother. The description of the film that follows is based on that viewingabout half way through song of the southern, we see black workers walking across a plantation. And as they move on mass they sing this song, raai oi.
