You wrote a piece in the New Yorker, what statistics can and can't tell us about ourselves. The deadline for that was the day that I got diagnosed with cancer. In my head they are all of these stories are very connected, because I think that as humans, we are. You have to really be careful to train yourself to realize that there is irreducible randomness right?
