The Big World Small Window

The concept originated with Ted Elliott, who co-wrote Pirates of the Caribbean and Aladdin. He said the way to make a boring movie is to show us everything. The first problem that I see most commonly is big world, big window. You're showing us too much of the geography of the story world. Geographical window is too big. Too many territories, too many locations, too many warring factions, too many alliances, too many enemies. And basically it gives birth to all these other problems that are coming next.
