We're on the Receiving End of Hard Power Threats
The committee has not reviewed the intelligence services act since two thousand and one when it was legislated. In over the last two parliaments, we have had the busiest time we've ever had in this parliament. 22 of those were in the last 12 months alone. And so some changes to the resources and the structure and the law governing the committee are going to be necessary if we're going to be out o keep to maintain that tempo and deal with that workload.
