Is It About Getting to a Specific Body Fat Level or Just Being in a Deficit?

Research tends to indicate that if someone can reach an approximately five to ten % reduction in body weight or body fat, you know they're not going to be perfectly metabolically healthy. That's like the magnitude of weight loss you need to see for things to really start improving in a pretty ked way. But that's a very different thing from saying that having a high body fat percentage is necessarily prohibitive of increased muscle gains. Those are two very different concepts.
