What Inspired You to Write Your Own Version of Love We've Seen Romeo and Julia?

I wanted to look at a version of Love that would be more positive for both of the people involved. I just kind of went back to my own background which is a kind of very ordinary working class background and thought what is the external thing that might split these two up? And what I came up with was this thought that one of them was tied very much to that place by bonds of another kind of love to family and that one of they wanted to leave to pursue an ambition to achieve something incredible in science.
