Introduction
Last time, i said that i would speak to day about the attack delivered on the ideal of enlightenment. I think it would be only fair to tell you what the general programme of these lectures is to be. I shall to day discuss the first onslaught upon the enlightenment. Next i propose to continue with that, and in particular, to deal with the attitudes and the ideas, and the effects of the ideas of rousseau kant and schiller.
