UX Research and the Trauma-Informed Lens

There is no special sauce for research methods in government. We do open-ended discovery interviews, we do evaluative interviews where we might show a prototype and give a task or we might do a cognitive walkthrough. There are some methods to use with a trauma-informed lens. But yeah, fundamentally, it's about getting full consent. It's about understanding that those experiences are real and true and honoring that.
