Pay Isn't the Magic Wand
There is a skill shortage here, we need to address that in the short term. That may mean more pay, may better condition. Certainly conditions are not great, and they do need to improve. Paying people more, its one thing, but pay is already good. You know, forty thousand pounds is a good salary. So i think there's a limit to how much you can keep paying people more because the knock on impacts would be pretty stark.
