What Is the Structure of Consciousness?
Phenomenology seeks to answer both of these ways of thinking about how we come to know by speaking about the intentionality of the mind. So our cognitive faculties are ordered towards the world in an intentional way. And so what we have in experience then is consciousness, the acts of consciousness and then the objects that are given in those acts. We can abstract consciousness or it's acts or the objects. But really what we have is a unified experience. I am conscious of this wonderful pints with Aquinas mug and its contents. That's really what we've given an experience. Yeah.
