Intuitive eating is based off the fact that you've learned your whole life to value food for its palitability. So people think, well, if i eat intuitively, i'll just ee doughnuts and petsa lon wel yat. We have to first move into different stages of learning before we get to that point. The fitness space communicates very mechanistic from a very mechanistic points of view. Proteins are not attached to emotions, my body needs nutrients and calories. Cravings are linked to my environment and sad? Am i having fun with my friends? Right? That's cravings - they're not hunger. As if this were an early warning system
