In JavaScript, we have use strict. So either by using a module, or by putting use strict in quotes at the top of your file, you enter into JavaScript strict mode. Low dash was made by John David Dalton, who's one of the most performance minded JavaScript developers I've ever met. Do you need it as much as you used to? No, because you can get all you can get away with map reduce filter find find one fill. There's all these amazing things in the browser that actually get rid of a lot of the use cases for low dash.
