Do You Have a Clear Picture of Russia's War Aims?
Tony Wood is a member of the editorial board of the new after review and a frequent contributor to the london review of books, among other outlets. He says he was 'caught off guard' by russia's decision to invade ukraine. The idea that they want to occupy all of ukraine and impose a new government on it by force is just so crazy,. I can't believe that that's a serious goal, unless they've totally lost their minds. But i think the aim is something slightly different, which is to really cind of tear ucron par politically.
