The Importance of Empathy

LZ Granderson: It's easy to look back at my life and see just unawarenesses and blindnesses. And it's been in the life of this congregation for me where, you know, one learns empathy. LZ: I've had so many conversations with good friends here who don't have outside sort of general worldview that would lead them to suspect all authority or think police must be evil. He says African American history is a history of Christians; "I want to learn from these brothers and sisters"
