In the early days there was a real sense of community, where everyone was working together for something that they loved. Like all the artists on deaf gam at the time, we all felt like a family. And when it started changing, i was less connected to it. I didn't get it then, but i get it now. It wasn't made to be accessible. You had to go to negril to find the good stuff. Not an innocent time, but it was a very pure time. If that makes sense.
