Tenacious tapes have terrific durable adhesives on them and they're made of nice light ripstop or taffeta nylons. A routine sleeping pad puncture can be repaired easily with tenacious tape patches and some kind of urethane glue. If I use a clear vinyl gear-aid tape, it tends to match and stretch better to the water bottle than a fabric tape.
