Research shows that diversity of experience, of thought, improves group out decision making outcome. We've only had this period of no dissenting since oh, which has also been as crazy a period as one could have in monetary policy and financial regulation. I think the system would be healthier if we had more divergent opinions that were more comfortable taking it through to its logical conclusion.
