The Greatest Gift a Novel Can Give
Even a very brief moment within a non human point of view can have an outsized effect on the reader's experience of the world. I love that you and her mention this, that even one single sentence in a book this way can change the whole bookah. It's such an interesting technique or reminder tointroduce an element that's beyond the scope of the story. And i think that way you actually ground the world in something greater than it's just coming out of one person's mind. But it's also within a broader context of a greater immersion i guess.
