I've hit situations maybe once or twice in my career where there was like a 10 pixel, like no man's land where something looked really weird. So by having a set of predefined, I have like common ones, 1100 pixels, 800 pixels, 500. And then I'll try to get them all kind of generally within that. That's also really nice because if you open up your dev tools, you can see all of the breakpoints that you have and you can click on them and that will snap the browser to that specific size.
