The Church Approves Private Revelations Differently From Public Revelation
When the Magisterium pronounces on matters of public revelation, what it's doing is essentially different from what it does when it evaluates private revelation. The church doesn't purport to approve of private revelations in the same way. And I think that there can be, this creates a big pastoral challenge and perhaps before I go into the norms, perhaps you can speak about this as a parish priest from your experience.
