Ancient Aesthetic South Indians

The people who lived at Domdama haven't been genetically analyzed as far as I know, so we can't be exactly sure about their population affinities. The vast majority of the ancestry of people living in South Asia today and varying proportions depending on region goes back to these two distinct populations. It's a fairly safe bet that the people who were buried at Damdama all of those thousands of years ago were representatives of this ancient ancestral South Indian group. They may have been on the receiving end of thrown spears too. A few of the skeletons have projectile points either embedded in the bone or in a position that makes us think they were buried in the soft tissue at the time the body
