Mary Wallstonecraft's Memoir

Mary had an older half-sister Fanny Imlay, who was Mary Wallstonecraft's child. The new stepmother came with two children of her own, Claire and Charles Claremont. Reports are that the mother, the stepmother favored those two over the Wallstonecraft slash Godwin girls. She also had a governess and a daily tutor. In addition to books like Sir Walter Scott's novels, she was reading her father's books about Roman and Greek history.
