I'd already been an advanced lifter, but deadlifted and squatted sporadically in my routine. When we got together was when I started to train that way. And the leap that my physique had in that short amount of time was, was unprecedented. This is why gaining 50 pounds on a squat looks way different in the mirror than gaining50 pounds on a leg press. That's what this is highlighting. There's very few exercises and movements that have such a broad range of carryover to other exercises. It means that these exercises are extremely efficient and effective.
