How Did the Media Hurt Stephen's Healing?
Stephanie: Not having therapy definitely made it superdifficult for stephen to move on and to heal. He didn't get the chance to properly process the last seven years of his there was no therapist helping guide him through probably all the thoughts he was having, everything he was trying to process. It would take a long time for him to fully recognize himself as stephen again. The media was constantly hounding their family. They wanted to squeeze as much as they could out of this story. But making everybody else's entertainment a spectacle for everybody to watch is now just prolongs the healing process or makes everything worse.
