If she had been strangled, whether manually or through a ligature, there's the possibility that they would still be seeing hemorrhaging in the strap muscles. Or what they are seeing as a result of somebody trying to muffle her cries. And so some of the evidence that they're saying could be due to suffocation, maybe also due to the abduction process.
