How to Characterize a Legacy Codebase
How do you recognize if you're sitting with a legacy codebase? Well, I think there's any hard line with it, really. Legacy is a subjective judgment that we make quite often based on the difficulty and the heart hardest to understand something we're working with. So everything is about getting that understanding either through writing tests or reading, you know, all those different things. And yeah, there's really a slippery slope on that. Things can kind of fall apart.
