Why are snowflakes all different shapes?

Lucy and Sam from Colorado ask why snowflakes are different shapes and speak to physicist Ken Liebrecht to find out. Ken explains that snowflakes form in the atmosphere when water droplets freeze and start to grow into six-sided hexagonal crystals.
