The Challenges of Co-Ops
Co-ops and more mutual forms of business arrangements are not only possible but exist. But they don't seem to maybe have the share of larger companies. Manuel Pestor: These alternative forms of ownership, community land trusts, worker cooperatives, other kinds of alternative employee owned stock operations,. etc. All of these actually do quite well, but they don't fit very well theoretically into a market oriented individual kind of model.
