How Did That Come Together?
Karnak was bought by Rutledge, and the kind of last great spot for psychoanalytic independent publishing went under a big five. I think it'd be great to have another space for those kinds of book length projects that also might be able to be a bit more weird than standard clinical monographs. So we wanted to extend that through the foundation. The board of the magazine is bonkers like filled with libraries, why not ask everyone to come together to really try and make a space for thinking and thought which was what we were getting the seven of us as editors at the magazine together.
