The Promise of Eternal Life

Most popular Bible verse of all time contains the most powerful promise of all time. John chapter 3 verse 16: Whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Eternal life is simply this, knowing God. Not knowledge about God, that's the wrong tree. That's the tree of knowledge. The Bible says that Adam knew Eve and she bore a son. This is an experiential, it's an intimate kind of knowing.
